Top 5 Wednesday: Books to Read by the Fire

Hey 🙂

Today’s top 5 Wednesday topic is books to read by the fire! This means your top 5 winter, holiday or Christmas book recommendations. I’m super excited to share these with you guys so let’s begin!

5. Girl Online by Zoe Sugg

I don’t know what says cosy and snug by the fire more than a cute contemporary and Girl Online is just that. It was such a cute romantic read that is sure to lift your spirits any time of year! Part of the book also takes part during Christmas so now is the perfect time to read it! You can check out my review to learn more!

4. The Incredible Adventures of Cinnamon Girl by Mellissa Keil

This book takes place around the Christmas break in Australia which is the summer holidays here. The story isn’t specifically related to Christmas or Winter itself but it’ still a cute, relatable and heart-warming read that more people definitely need to read! Again I’ll leave a link to my review if you want to learn more!

3. My True Love Gave To Me by Stephanie Perkins

This book is actually an anthology which includes the stories from a bunch of other much loved young adult authors. There are plenty of cutesy stories to read that all take place around Christmas time and are sure to get you in the Christmas spirit!

2. Carry On by Rainbow Rowell

What says Christmas more than magic and romance? Carry On isn’t based entirely around Christmas but a good bit of the book does take place during the Christmas break and in winter so why not. I think it would be a great book to read all wrapped up and cosy in front of the fireplace while drinking hot chocolate. Come on, of course I will look for any excuse to recommend this book.

1. Let It Snow by John Green, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle

Think of a young adult book version of the movies Love Actually or The Holiday and *bam* meet Let It Snow. A collection of three short stories each follows a different romance at Christmas time. Each one is uplifting, adorable and totally swoon worthy. Throughout the book all the stories and characters start coming together in a smart and fun way. Try and not be in the Christmas spirit after reading this book!

There we go my top 5 holiday recommendations! Leave a comment on what you think of any of these books or any holiday recommendations you have for me. J Thank you all so much for checking out my post!
